The Women's Mission Union (WMU) of Lawson Baptist Church is very active.  The WMU organizes the Shoe box Ministry.  Every year, church members donate items in order to fill up shoe boxes to send to children overseas.  The WMU promotes mission offerings for Lottie Moon, Dixie Jackson, and Annie Armstrong and often brings in missionaries to speak to the church.  The WMU also sponsors the baby bottle campaign each year where church members take an empty baby bottle and fill it with change to donate to the Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center.
